Satya Balram Azad is the Interior Minister of the Coalition Government in Uttar Pradesh. He wants to introduce an anti-corruption bill to Congress, but his  alliance partners oppose it. 

 

Interestingly, one of the municipalities that voted against the measure was Satya's wife, Vidya Azad. She is the daughter of Chandra Prakash, the Supreme Minister of Uttar Pradesh. 

 

Meanwhile, state hospital doctors went on strike. A mother begs her daughter to be treated in an accident. The doctor who initiated the strike refuses to do so. 

 

Victim dies in front of  protesting doctors and media. That same night, vigilantes kill the doctor who organized a strike for revenge. His death cancels the strike.

Vigilantes become heroes overnight. Chandra Prakash is not impressed and  tells DCP Upadhyaya to find the culprit.  DCP is referring the case to Jay Balram Azad, the twin brother of Satya Balram Azad. 

 

Meanwhile, the country is shaken by another scandal in which many children eat and fall ill  in madrassah. The public hospitals where they are admitted do not have enough oxygen cylinders. 

 

As a result, 40 of these children die. Satya learns that the spoiled grain was delivered by Tripathi's relatives. And Shankar Prasad's closest aide is in charge of oxygenation at the state hospital. 

 

Tripati and Shankar are both from the Alliance Party, and threaten to cut off support if they encounter Satya. It turned out that the  vigilante was none other than Satya. Now he is killing both Tripati and Shankar.

A third incident occurred a few days later in which the state overpass collapsed. Overpass contractor  Madan Lal Joshi disclaims responsibility.

I'm not as surprised as you when you see John Abraham becoming a vigilante to punish those who kill innocent civilians and learn that it is Satya who is enduring the death penalty and Jay is tied to bring the vigilantes into account. .

Milap makes no secret that he pays tribute to '80s cinema, and his pride  is  evident in the script and dialogues, whether Satya has called ACP and said that he will not stop punishing those responsible.  

Jay's opening episode, or even Dadasaheb Azad plowing a poor farmer's field alone, or  saffron and green-clad brothers fighting each other before menopause. 

 

All this and much more just add masala to the essence of the story. In addition to the threat of corruption, Wax fully addresses  the importance of peasant suicide, violence against women, the Rockfal Law, community harmony and religious tolerance. 

The filmmaker and author makes a powerful commentary on today's media and social media, with a greater focus on filming news and sensational scenes with cameras and smartphones, even when someone is bleeding  on the street.
