Danny's hometown is Englewood, Florida. He graduated from Lemon Bay High School in 2010. His first job was at his local Walgreens.
Throughout and after school Danny was an avid distance runner. In 2014, he gained enough notoriety for his 5k and triathlon events that he was sponsored by New Balance.
His passion also led him to volunteer as coach for Florida Elite Track Club to benefit local youth.
